All she-cats from the age of twelve moons to 35 moons are kit-bearers unless otherwise deemed by the leader.
Tom from 6 to 40 moons old are prey-hunters. Any tom may be promoted to a guard at any time by the leader.
Guards protect the group.
Prey-hunters feed the group, starting with the kit-bearers, then the leader, then the other toms, then themselves.
All deserters are sacrificed to Osiris, god of the dead.
Once each month, the she-cat deemed to be the prettiest is sacrificed.
The sacrificial ritual is: The she-cat is placed on the altar(a tree stump.) Then, starting with the leader, each cat slashes the she-cat and prays to the god of their choice.
If your cat wishes to leave, you must meet with the leader and come to an agreement, or be killed.
