Name: Wolfcry
Clan: Windclan
Rank: Deputy
Age: 22 moons
Appearance Wolfcry is an average sized she-cat, if not just a tad on the small side. She has a lofty, lithe body with limber, wiry legs. She has petite paws with long, black claws that jut out constantly. Her short pelt is almost pure white; the exceptions being her left front paw and her long, bushy tail. She has a tear in her right ear from one of many battles; most of her other battle scars are hidden under her fur. Wolfcry has a tiny pink nose framed by long, white whiskers. Her eyes are Blue-her right eye is a deep oceanic Blue, while her left eye is an icy Blue, as she is blind in that eye; another souvenir from an unneeded battle.
Personality: Wolfcry looks harmless; but looks are deceiving. Most take her easy-going personality for granted, but those who have crossed her regretted it. Being in a clan that others deem weak has only made her stronger. She doesn't mind when others underestimate her as it gives her the upper hand. She has quite the reputation for getting into battles that were highly unnecessary, though to her credit most of them weren't started by her. As a proud Windclanner, all other clans are meaningless to her. She is highly devoted to her clan and the warrior code, but is fairly passive when it comes to enforcing the warrior code. Through all of her negative behavior there is a sweet side to the domineering she-cat. She loves kits, and loves to play with them and talk with them. Her patience seems to be reserved for apprentices; though she has a short temper, she fights to be patient with apprentices as she keeps in mind they are still learning.
History: Wolfkit was the second-to-last born in a litter of four. Her parents were Sandstorm and Raintail, well respected Windclan warriors. When Raintail gave birth, Sandstorm couldn't have been happier. Wolfkit's siblings were Fernkit, Shadowkit and Adderkit. Adderkit, being the eldest, always tried to control things. Fernkit and Wolfkit were inseparable, and it made the other two jealous. Trying to be better than them, the other two tried to stay close but Shadowkit was too different from his sister, from his whole family. Once they hit apprentice-hood the differences became much more obvious to not only the family but to the clan. Shadowpaw seemed to keep to himself, and would often have moments where he didn't recognize even his own sisters. Wolfpaw and Fernpaw often worried about their brother, whereas Adderpaw didn't really care. She only cared about being better than everyone else so she could be Leader someday. Her apprentice-hood was otherwise uneventful. It wasn't until warrior-hood that things got interesting. Adderpaw became Adderstrike, Shadowpaw became Shadowclaw, Fernpaw became Ferntail and Wolfpaw became Wolfcry. On the night of their warrior ceremony, Shadowclaw broke the vigil and attacked Adderstrike, killing her. As he went after Wolfcry, Ferntail went for help. Wolfcry and Shadowclaw were matched for strength, but Shadowclaw was mentally unstable. He was capable of nothing more than attacking with all of his might. They both got in a few good scratches before the leader stepped in. The clan drove Shadowclaw out and Wolfcry spent the next moon in the Medicine Cat's Den, Ferntail by her side the entire time. It was during this time that Wolfcry decided to do her best to become deputy, and eventually leader, not only in honor of her sister but because she wanted to protect her clan from something happening like that ever again.

A deep growl could be heard throughout the camp, but it rang in Wolfcry's ears. Not wanting to break the vigil, she turned to each of her siblings questioningly. Ferntail shrugged, but Adderstrike locked her mossy eyes onto Wolfcry's in fear before nodding to Shadowclaw. He wasn't facing the other three; his shoulders were shaking, his tail twitching. Wolfcry fought hard to keep her vigil, as she had been worried about her brother for more moons than she could remember. Ferntail took the initiative and slunk over toward him, stopping next to Wolfcry. "Shadowclaw, what-" she was cut off by his feral yowl as he turned to face them. What they saw instilled a fear they had hoped to never experience. His eyes were shining, but they were empty as if he felt nothing. He was grinning, but the foam slowly dripping from his mouth showed he was sick.
Adderstrike ran toward the leader's den yowling, but it was for nothing as Shadowclaw leaped up and tackled her. "Shadowclaw, what are you doing? Get off of her!" Wolfcry yowled angrily, running after her brother. "Ferntail. go get help! Now!" Without another word she did as Wolfcry ordered and sprinted to the leader's den sounding the alarm. Shadowclaw wrestled with Adderstrike for all of forty-five seconds before biting her throat, killing her. He began to laugh as he faced Wolfcry, the glint in his eyes showing how unhinged he really was. "You need to leave, now." Wolfcry spoke softly, hoping her tone would get through to her brother. She didn't want him killed, but if she had no other choice, then she would. "And what makes you think I'd want to leave, dear sister?"
They began to circle each other, Wolfcry trying to recall at least one of his weak points from their double training. Before she could remember anything, he leaped at her with his claws out, aiming for her throat. She leaped out of the way just in time; his claws grazed her shoulder and she finally unsheathed her claws. The white she-cat slid under Shadowclaw and as he clawed at her tail she clawed at his stomach before kicking at his legs. He stumbled for a moment and she leaped onto his back, digging her claws in. As he yowled in pain and frustration, her grip loosened. "I don't want to hurt you. Leave!" she offered him one last chance as he flailed around. Her grip wasn't tight enough to hold on and she fell on her side, panting heavily. Shadowclaw scratched at her for a bit before getting ready to deliver the final blow.
Before he could get to her throat, he heard the yowls of his clan mates. It was enough of a distraction for Wolfcry to get up and pounce on him, holding him still until the leader was within reach. "If I ever see you again, I will kill you." she hissed in his ear as she struggled to keep her brother down. He laughed. "Only if I don't kill you first. You'd better watch your back until then." was his calm reply. "Wolfcry, let him go." Reluctantly she did as she was told and limped toward Ferntail. "He will pay for killing Adderstrike. Starclan help him if I ever see him again." Ferntail tried to comfort her sister, but it had no effect as Wolfcry numbly watched the leader scratch Shadowclaw and drive him out. She had lost more than she had ever imagined in one night, and she felt like it was a sign of things to come in her time as a warrior. There was so much she wanted to say. "Ferntail, help me to the Medicine Cat's den, please." was all she managed to mutter as she looked at the camp entrance, Shadowclaw's eyes locked onto hers before he ran off. A resonant yowl of mourning escaped Wolfcry's throat before she lost all consciousness and blacked out.
